Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as your browser's local storage) used on bosphorusbrokers.com, operated by Burak Ünal under the Bosphorus Brokers brand. It follows the Personal Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on Cookie Practices and complements our Privacy Policy and KVKK Information Notice.
1. Our approach
- Strictly necessary storage is used without asking, because the site cannot remember your choice without it.
- Analytics cookies are used only after you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. "Decline" is shown with the same prominence, and nothing is pre-selected. Declining does not limit anything you can do on the site.
- Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps load only when you click them.
- You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
- We ask again when this policy changes in a way that affects your choice.
2. What we use
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bb_consent | Bosphorus Brokers | Stores your cookie choice, its date and the policy version, so we can respect it and prove it. | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Until you clear your browser data |
bb-shortlist-v1 | Bosphorus Brokers | Remembers the projects you save with the heart button. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. | Functional, set only when you save a project (local storage) | Until you remove the projects or clear your browser data |
_ga | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes visitors to produce usage statistics. | Analytics, only with consent | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Google (Google Analytics 4) | Keeps the state of a visit for usage statistics. | Analytics, only with consent | 2 years |
| YouTube storage | Google (YouTube, privacy-enhanced mode) | Plays an embedded video tour. Set only after you press play. | Third party, on click | Set by YouTube |
| Google Maps cookies | Shows a project or our office on an interactive map. Set only after you choose to load the map. | Third party, on click | Set by Google |
We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept, analytics storage is "denied" and the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all. Advertising storage stays denied in every case, because we do not run advertising tags. Google is located abroad; the transfer is made only with your consent, in line with KVKK Article 9.
3. Links to other services
WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Google reviews are separate services. When you follow a link to them, their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
4. Changing your choice
- Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to show the banner again and accept or decline.
- You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage means the site asks for your choice on every visit.
5. Contact
contact@bosphorusbrokers.com. If the versions differ, the Turkish version prevails: Çerez Politikası.
