Branded Residences Above Mecidiyeköy

Trump Towers Istanbul is a mixed-use complex in Mecidiyeköy, in the Şişli district of Istanbul, made up of a 39-storey residential tower, a 37-storey office tower and the Trump Shopping Center at their base. The residential tower is 154 metres high according to the developer and holds 205 residences in 88 different layouts, the largest reaching 680 m². The complex was designed by the Brigitte Weber Architectural Office. The towers were completed in 2011 and the complex was formally opened in April 2012.

The project was started by the Doğan Group in partnership with Taşyapı, and the Doğan Group took over Taşyapı's share in 2009. The Trump name is used under a licence agreement. Bosphorus Brokers is an independent licensed broker, not the developer, the licensor or the building's sales office.

Location and Transport

The towers stand on Mecidiyeköy Yolu Caddesi, at one of the busiest transport hubs in the city. The Şişli-Mecidiyeköy station of the M2 metro connects north to Gayrettepe, Levent and Maslak and south to Şişli, Taksim and the historic peninsula. Mecidiyeköy is also a station on the M7 metro line and a stop on the metrobus, and the O-1 inner ring road passes alongside on its way to the 15 July Martyrs Bridge.

The office districts of Esentepe, Zincirlikuyu and Levent are a few stops away, and Nişantaşı and central Şişli are close by. Residents have the shops and restaurants of the Trump Shopping Center below them, with the Cevahir mall also in Mecidiyeköy.

Homes and Amenities

The official floor plans show a range from one-bedroom flats to large family homes. Examples include a 1+1 of 91 m² gross (121 m² including the share of common areas), 2+1 layouts of 126 m² and 158 m² gross (168 m² and 210 m² with common areas) and a 3+1 of 191 m² gross (254 m² with common areas). Larger homes on the upper floors go up to 680 m².

The fourth floor of the residential tower is a 300 m² owners' lounge with a library, bar, fireplace sitting area, business centre, children's playrooms and meeting rooms. The Trump Organization lists a full-service spa and fitness centre, an indoor pool and a 24-hour doorman among the residents' services.

Buying at Trump Towers Istanbul

Buyers include international investors who want a branded residence in central Istanbul, Turkish families moving to a serviced building, and landlords who value the location next to the metro. Apartments for sale in the tower differ widely by floor, view and layout. A purchase of at least USD 400,000 can qualify for Turkish citizenship by investment, subject to the unit's eligibility.
