A Two-Block Residential Complex in İstinye, Sarıyer

Hilpark Suites İstinye is a completed residential complex in İstinye, a Bosphorus neighbourhood in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul. The name also appears as Hillpark Suites in press coverage. It was developed by Bay İnşaat, whose other projects in the area include Beyza Konakları Tarabya, Bay İstinye Konakları and the earlier Hilpark İstinye. The architecture is by TAGO Mimarlık, with Gökhan Altuğ and Tatsuya Yamamoto credited for the design.

The complex has 91 apartments in two five-storey blocks, known as Blue and Green, on a plot of about 9,000 m², with a total construction area of around 34,000 m². Construction started in 2007, the developer gives 2009 as the completion date, and residents began moving in from April 2010.

Location and Transport

İstinye lies on the European shore of the Bosphorus between Emirgan and Yeniköy. İstinye Bayırı Caddesi climbs from the waterfront towards Maslak, passing the İstinyePark shopping centre, while the coastal road runs south to Emirgan and Bebek and north to Yeniköy and Tarabya.

Maslak, one of Istanbul's main business districts, is served by the M2 metro line, which continues through Levent and Şişli to Taksim. The O-2 (TEM) motorway and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge are close by for journeys to the Asian side, and Levent and Etiler can be reached by road.

Bay İnşaat designed 33 different layouts, from 1+1 to 5+1, including garden duplexes and roof duplexes. The developer gives unit sizes of 76 to 412 m²; at a later sales stage, the units offered ranged from an 88 m² 1+1 to a 375 m² 5+1. Residents share the following facilities and services:
