İstinye Park Residence is a residential complex next to the İstinyePark shopping centre in the İstinye area of Sarıyer, Istanbul; the site itself lies within Pınar Mahallesi. It was developed by a partnership of Doğuş Group and Orjin Group, the same two groups that opened the İstinyePark shopping centre in 2007. The complex has 19 residential blocks and around 400 homes, with sizes from about 130 m² to 560 m², many with gardens, terraces or roof duplexes. Construction started in 2005 and the residences were completed in the late 2000s, so homes for sale here today are resale units from private owners.

Location and Transport

The complex sits beside İstinyePark, one of the city's best-known shopping centres, with 291 stores, about 85,250 m² of retail space and four levels of underground parking. It lies between the Maslak business district and the Bosphorus village of İstinye, about 3 km from the shore. The M2 metro line runs under Büyükdere Avenue in Maslak, a short drive away, and continues south to Levent, Şişli-Mecidiyeköy and Taksim. Istanbul Technical University's Ayazağa campus is close by, and the Enka private school is in İstinye. By road, the TEM (O-2) motorway connects with the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and the Asian side, and Büyükdere Avenue leads south to Levent and Zincirlikuyu.

Buying at İstinye Park Residence

Buyers are usually families looking for a large home with outdoor space within reach of Maslak, Levent and the Bosphorus, and executives who want to live close to the office without giving up a garden or terrace. Most homes here are large, and a purchase of at least USD 400,000 can qualify for Turkish citizenship by investment, subject to the unit's eligibility.
