Twin Residential Towers in Bomonti, Şişli

Anthill Residence is a pair of 54-storey residential towers in Bomonti, in the Şişli district of central Istanbul. Ant Yapı developed and built the project to a design by MM Proje between 2008 and 2010, and owners received their keys in 2010. The two towers contain 804 apartments within a gross construction area of 150,000 m². Ant Yapı gives the height as 210 metres, while the CTBUH Skyscraper Center lists each tower at 195 metres. Some of the units are operated as Fraser Place Anthill Istanbul, a serviced residence run by Frasers Hospitality. Homes for sale here are resale units from private owners.

Location and Transport

The towers stand on İncirlidede Caddesi in the Cumhuriyet neighbourhood of Bomonti, an area that grew up around the former Bomonti brewery, now the Bomontiada arts and dining venue. Osmanbey and the shops and restaurants of Nişantaşı are close by. Osmanbey station on the M2 metro line, under Halaskargazi Avenue, is the nearest metro stop. The next station north, Şişli-Mecidiyeköy, links the M2 with the M7 line towards Mahmutbey and with the Metrobüs on the D-100 highway, and the Cevahir shopping centre is there too. The M2 runs north to Levent and Maslak and south to Taksim. By car, Mecidiyeköy and Zincirlikuyu give access to the D-100 and the 15 July Martyrs Bridge.

Ant Yapı states that homes from the 15th floor upwards look over the Sea of Marmara, and from the 30th floor upwards over the Princes' Islands and the Golden Horn.

Homes and Amenities

Standard layouts are 1+1 and 2+1. The plans allow neighbouring units to be combined, so the towers also contain larger 3+1, 4+1 and 5+1 homes. At launch the developer included covered parking and a storage unit with each purchase.

The shared facilities described at launch include an indoor spa and fitness centre with sauna, steam room and Turkish bath, an indoor pool, a squash court, an indoor ski practice slope, a meeting room and a children's club, plus an outdoor pool, tennis court, basketball and volleyball court, mini golf, climbing wall, playgrounds, an amphitheatre and walking tracks. Residence services listed at the time included reception and concierge, valet parking and housekeeping. Services and fees are set by the building management, so we confirm what is currently included for any unit we show. Fraser Place Anthill offers serviced units from one-bedroom homes to four-bedroom penthouse suites, with 24-hour reception and housekeeping.

Buying at Anthill Residence

Buyers include professionals working in Şişli, Mecidiyeköy and Levent, investors who want a central address with metro access, and international buyers looking for a managed tower with on-site services. Floor level and view direction vary a great deal between units, so two homes with the same layout can be priced very differently.

Long lets usually run on one-year contracts.
